Weak13 on The Midsweep

On the 3rd April, Phil Coyne and the team of The Midsweep will welcome Nick J. Townsend of Weak13 in to the studio for a live performance and interview.

This year marks 10 years of Nick and Weak13 making music, lighting up the darkened underground clubs of the UK and making a stand. The single, Lunatic is available now on eMusic and iTunes and is a very clever love song about moving forward;

“The music of WEAK13 is normally very opposite to radio friendly and this for the act, run by British musician Nick J.Townsend, is the extreme complete opposite. Selling out? or is this Nick J.Townsend’s sense of humour fooling us all again?” Ref: Madrid (Feb 2010

April 3rd is already shaping up to be a memorable Easter Saturday for Rhubarb Radio, and we do hope you’ll join us for both this live performance from a fantastic musician and for our gig at The Hare and Hounds from 8pm on the day.

Rhubarb Radio Presents: Brumcast vs Midsweep – 3rd April 2010

We’re very excited here at Rhubarb Radio at the moment. Not only is the weather starting to change from the ghastly cold wintery stuff, we’ve just confirmed that the first Rhubarb Radio Presents gig will take place on the 3rd April.

Join Chris Downing of Brumcast and Phil Coyne from The Midsweep as we bring you a live broadcast from the Hare and Hounds. This definitely won’t be your normal Saturday night in Kings Heath;

We’re taking over the main Rhubarb Radio feed to bring you the whole evening live, featuring five bands, interviews, guest DJs and your chance to help support your community radio station.

Tickets are just £3 and available now from TheTicketSellers.

Confirmed line up so far:

Rhubarb and Apple — two new ways to listen

Rhubarb on Apple TV

It should now be even easier to tune in to Rhubarb — we’re listed in Apple’s Internet Radio directory.

That means if you’ve got an AppleTV you can find us under the Internet > Radio menu. If not but you have got iTunes on your computer we’re there too (under ‘radio’ in the sidebar).

You can chose two categories to be under, so you can find us under ‘Eclectic’ or ‘News/Talk’.
